抵押貸款案 美銀166億美元和解

（中央社台北2014年8月21日電）彭博報導，美國司法部表示，美國銀行（Bank of America Corp. US-BAC）將支付166.5億美元終結聯邦與州政府針對抵押貸款債券銷售的調查。

司法部指出，這是與引發2008年金融危機有關的貸款中最嚴厲的懲罰，金額超過花旗集團（CitigroupInc. US-C）的70億美元及摩根大通集團（JPMorganChase & Co. US-JPM）的130億美元。

美國政府今天說，這項和解包括70億美元消費者救濟金和50億美元罰款，聯邦及州檢察官的民事調查就此落幕。

全美第2大銀行美銀與美國政府從3月起展開協商。在懲罰導致房市泡沫和金融危機的不當行為方面，由於檢方採取較激進立場，希望掃除所做努力受到的批評，因此協商遭到延宕。知情人士透露，美銀勉強同意提高賠償金額的要求後，協商在7月底快馬加鞭。（譯者：中央社徐崇哲）
