12年國教基北區特招總報名人數8865人，其中非應屆國中畢業生有118人。北市教育局副局長馮清皇表示，報名特招考試人數較預期少，除表示相對錄取率將較高以外，也顯示基北區學生及家長，決定一免就定位或考量直接參加二免等，多數已有定見。
